Meta Tags are very beneficial for blog because it tells search engines about the page content. Meta Tags provides the information to web crawlers about our blog posts contents so that search engines can show your blog on proper place.

Meta Description also show on the search results page below the Post title. Normally if we want to add meta description to our blog then we have to play with our templates Coding but there is a bit easy way to do this task and after it you can also use different search description to your blog posts. How to Add Search Description:

• Go To Blogger Blog  >> Settings >> Search Preferences
• Look For Meta Tags and Tick "Yes" To Enable It.
• Now a box will appear where you have to write your meta tag or description. Make sure that it doesn't exist 150 characters.

• Click Save Changes!

Adding Meta Description To All Posts:

After you enable search description from Search Preferences then you will find a option on the Post Editor to add search description in the post. 

Write the best matched description it this area and you are ready to attract a lot of organic traffic from search engines.
